From the Bride: Our wedding was truly so perfect for us! We wanted to get married in a chapel surrounded by our family and friends and have a Christ-honoring ceremony. His family lives in Dallas/East Texas and mine lived in Austin/West Texas, so we decided to have the ceremony and reception in Fort Worth.

I had been to a wedding previously at the Marty Leonard Community Chapel and thought, it's the perfect place to meet in the middle for our families! The only setback was that it was in January and I do not love cold weather at all; however, God listened to my prayers (ha!) and that Saturday it was a bright and sunny 70 degrees!

When I first started thinking about a wedding dress, I knew I wanted two things: that Ryan, my to-be-husband, would love my dress and that it truly would be a dress that was stunning and also "me"/my style. I searched and searched on Pinterest and found a stunning Stella York gown. I hunted down a shop that carried the Stella York brand and Circle Park Bridal was just the place!

Unfortunately, my mother was very sick at the time, but thankfully one of my soon-to-be sister-in-laws, Lauren, came with me to the fitting. I tried on the exact gown that I had seen, and we both said, "THIS IS IT!"

I have never felt more beautiful than my wedding day in that dress! My wedding was one of the most special days for me and a celebration of all the Lord had done in our relationship and us individually. The weather was amazing, we were with our favorite people on earth, and the bonus for me is that my dad is a Pastor so he was our officiant.

It couldn't have been a better day for us! Oh, and my husband LOVED the dress. He still talks about it 3 years later!" Our first dance was to the JOHNNYSWIM song, “Take the World”, which is one of the sweetest love songs ever.
